Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. is seeking an Associate for GTB Advisory in New York.

You will translate client needs and market insights into actionable product and strategic initiatives, supporting the Director and senior colleagues with research, presentations and complex transaction-banking solutions. You will work with Sales, Coverage, Operations, Technology, Risk and Legal to ensure timely delivery, maintain data quality, and drive strategic transformation across the Global Transaction Banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, international affairs, data analytics, or related discipline.
• Two to six years of relevant experience in transaction banking, treasury services, consulting, or related client-facing roles.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor and industry research across cash management, payments, liquidity, trade finance, working capital, treasury technology, APIs and fintech developments.
• Prepare tailored presentations and solution materials for client meetings and RFPs; support commercialization priorities.
• Coordinate inputs from Product, Sales, Coverage, Operations, Technology, Risk and Legal; track action logs and dependencies.
• Maintain accurate client-feedback repositories and management materials; ensure compliance with confidentiality and records-management requirements.
