Job summary

Mizuho in New York seeks an Associate, GTB Advisory within Global Transaction Banking Division Americas. You will translate client needs and market intelligence into actionable product and strategic outcomes, support complex transaction-banking solutions, and coordinate across Product, Sales, Coverage, Operations, Technology, Risk and other control partners.

Responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing presentations, and maintaining accurate client-feedback repositories.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, business, or related field.
2–6 years of relevant experience in transaction banking or related field.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
English required; Japanese preferred; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct market and industry research across cash management, payments, liquidity, trade finance, and APIs.
Support senior advisory colleagues in client meetings and RFPs; prepare presentations.
Coordinate inputs from Product, Sales, Coverage, Operations, Technology, Risk and Legal.
Maintain client-feedback repositories and manage data quality.
Support strategic initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Cross-functional development and timely delivery of assignments.
