Job summary

Wayve seeks a Global Head of Training to own the strategy, standards, and operating model for training its on-road workforce across the UK, US, Germany, and Japan. You will define scalable curricula, onboarding, and certification pathways, turning insights into rapid updates and still ensuring readiness before deployment.

You will lead a distributed team of regional leads, drive data-led improvements, and partner with Operations, Product, and Safety to align training with business needs.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in training or capability development in safety-critical environments.
• Proven ability to build and lead multi-site/global training programmes.
• Experience turning requirements into practical training content and readiness criteria.
• Strong track record using data to improve training outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own global training strategy, standards, and operating model across geographies.
• Define scalable curricula, onboarding, and certification for on-road and maintenance roles.
• Ensure operators meet readiness and safety thresholds before live deployment.
• Translate product and safety insights into rapid training updates.
• Establish metrics and reporting to prove training effectiveness and prioritise actions.
• Manage Regional Training Leads and enable local adaptation within a global standard.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Safety to align training with business needs.
• Own certification and compliance records and audit readiness.
