Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Advanced Capability Engineer to support the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) contract in Hawai’i. You will identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies to improve mission effectiveness for USPACOM stakeholders and defense customers.

You will lead technology scouting, capability assessments, and proof-of-concept initiatives, translating innovations into practical fieldable solutions while communicating findings to engineering teams and senior

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 13+ years.
Experience evaluating and integrating emerging technologies in DoD or defense logistics.
Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and government contracting rules.
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility prior to start.

Responsibilities

Identify and assess emerging technologies to enhance mission readiness.
Lead technology scouting, capability assessments, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
Develop technology transition strategies and pilot programs.
Prepare technical briefings and roadmaps for leadership and government customers.
Collaborate with stakeholders and industry partners to implement new capabilities.
