Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal in our Atlanta office. The role involves managing trademark deadlines, filing US and international applications, conducting searches, and coordinating with foreign law firms on prosecution and enforcement matters.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in USPTO and WIPO systems, and experience in trademark prosecution, maintenance, and dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; certificate in paralegal studies preferred.
• Minimum seven years’ experience as a trademark paralegal or five years as a trademark professional.
• Experience handling USPTO TEAS and ESTTA filings.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with foreign law firms and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manages a full docket of trademark deadlines and sends reminders.
• Conducts in-house trademark screening searches using TESS, SAEGIS, Corsearch, and WIPO databases.
• Prepares and files U.S. trademark applications and renewals.
• Files international applications with WIPO and extensions of time.
• Files UDRP complaints with the Forum and WIPO.
• Records assignments, name changes, and lien releases with the USPTO.
• Instructs foreign firms on prosecution and enforcement matters.
