Job summary

Flexport is seeking a Senior Manager, PR & Communications to shape how the company presents itself across press, blogs, and social channels. You will partner with the CEO and leadership to craft a compelling public narrative about global trade, AI in logistics, and policy shifts, while ensuring customers and employees hear from us clearly and consistently.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of PR and communications experience.
• Proven media relationships and coverage in top-tier business, trade, and technology outlets.
• Experience partnering with senior executives—preparing leaders for interviews and developing thought leadership platforms.
• Strong editorial instincts and the ability to build scalable content programs.
• Experience owning customer communications in a B2B environment, especially during sensitive moments like service changes or disruptions.
• Ability to move fast, manage multiple workstreams, and exercise good judgment about messaging.
• Familiarity with logistics, trade, or related industries is a plus.
• Active use of AI tools to drive efficiencies across content production, media monitoring, research, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support Flexport's PR strategy end-to-end with pitching, inbound media management, press releases, and rapid response.
• Define and evolve Flexport's narrative across channels and product context.
• Build relationships with key reporters and outlets covering logistics, trade, technology, and business.
• Develop and execute a thought leadership program that positions Flexport's leaders as go-to voices on global trade, supply chain innovation, and AI in logistics.
• Staff and prep spokespeople for interviews, panels, and media appearances with media training and briefing documents.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Content Marketing to align content with campaigns, product launches, and pipeline objectives.
