Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Tysons, VA seeks a Global Trade Lead Technical Advisor (TA) – Level 5 to drive export compliance across Space Systems. The role includes leading TA activities, mentoring a large community of TAs, and ensuring proper ITAR/EAR classifications during proposals and product development.

The ideal candidate will hold a STEM degree with extensive experience and must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and related US Government export regulations.
• Experience providing training in Global Trade or related areas.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor a large TA network.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the sector level TA for Space Global Trade with direction from the Director of Global Trade.
• Lead the sector in all TA-related activities, including TA training and program representation.
• Propose, evaluate and assign TA candidates across engineering divisions.
• Translate export regulatory requirements into embedded processes and procedures for compliance during proposals and development.
• Conduct jurisdiction and classification determinations of hardware, software and technology; train Space TAs.
