Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to manage centralized payables, receivables, and revenue recognition processes. You will support month-end close, billing accuracy, and collaboration with the accounting team to uphold financial policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes process improvement, timely financial reporting, and cross-functional teamwork within a global logistics environment. Experience with Excel and MS Office is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Draft Payables and centralized Ocean Payables.
• Handle Provisions, Journals and Unbilled freight A/R.
• Support revenue recognition and month-end close processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and GL updates.
• Assist with rate schedules and credit setup for new business.
