Job summary

RTX is seeking a Customs Continuous Improvement Lead to plan, organize, and execute day-to-day operations in a fast-paced export/import environment. The role drives the continuous improvement program, focusing on compliance at the speed of business and serves as a focal point for procedure management and controls.

Reporting to the ESCO Sr Manager, Controls & Regulatory Management, you will develop training, collaborate across teams, and lead initiatives to strengthen RTX's global trade processes

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in Customs/Global Trade.
• Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist or experience in these areas.
• Experience with CFR19 U.S. Customs regulations and HS classification, FTAs, valuations, and origin.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor imports/exports controls to achieve desired results.
• Document customs processes and align stakeholders.
• Verify compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Apply Trade Regulation expertise to balance risk and determine corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training.
• Identify and report potential trade violations and weaknesses.
