Job summary

DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson, is seeking a Senior Manager, Trade Controls, in Raynham, MA. This global role leads trade controls across the end-to-end supply chain to enable growth, ensure regulatory confidence, and maintain supply continuity.

You will design operating models, partner with Legal, Tax, Quality, and regional teams, and mentor staff while driving process improvements. Requires 8–10 years in trade compliance and SAP GTS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred for advanced roles.
• 8–10 years of experience in trade compliance or global supply chain with leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global trade controls strategy for the DePuy Synthes supply chain, aligning with enterprise objectives.
• Design and continuously improve trade compliance operating models, processes, and governance across regions.
• Provide strategic oversight for import/export controls, customs compliance, FTAs, and tariff mitigation initiatives.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, Quality, and regional teams to embed trade controls in network design.
• Lead cross-functional transformations to enhance compliance, efficiency, and scalability of trade processes.
• Establish metrics and risk indicators to monitor compliance and impact.
• Mentor team members and stakeholders to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Support regulatory change management and timely, compliant implementation.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior leaders on trade risk and supply chain implications.
