Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Global Trade Controls Specialist to ensure export/import compliance and to work with the GTC team. The role supports classifications, supplier reviews, access requests, and process improvements.

The position collaborates with internal partners and external customers to maintain compliant international operations. ITAR/EAR expertise and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related work experience in export/import controls and supplier reviews.
• Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Background in import/export regulations, licensing, exemptions, and technology control plans.
• Strong organizational and communication and computer skills.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier requests, DPS, visitor approvals and data reviews.
• Conduct jurisdiction, product classification and HTS/Schedule B determinations.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners for compliant international operations.
• Communicate procedural changes via email and training.
• Audit internal controls and procedures for compliant transactions.
• Support DoS/DoC inquiries with data gathering and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and training on GTC practices.
