Job summary

Motion Recruitment in Orlando, FL seeks a Trade Compliance Specialist to support international trade operations. You will maintain HTS classifications, country of origin determinations, and import/export documentation, while coordinating with customs brokers and ERP systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities include supporting U.S. customs programs, regulatory compliance, and improving trade processes across cross-functional teams. A 3+ year background in trade compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business or related field required.
• 3+ years in trade compliance, customs, or international logistics.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and Foreign Trade Regulations.
• HTS classification, valuation methods, country of origin determination and related Customs programs familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HTS code classification and country of origin determination for all imported/exported products.
• Assist in applying proper U.S. Customs valuation methods.
• Review and maintain import/export documentation (commercial invoice, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Track international shipments for customs delays and regulatory holds.
• Support the implementation of Customs programs such as Duty Drawback and Temporary Import Bonds.
