Raise is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist for an onsite role in Orlando, FL. The position supports international trade operations, handling export/import documentation, product classification, and country of origin evaluations while aligning with U.S. laws and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3+ years in trade compliance or international logistics.
• Knowledge of HTS classification, U.S. Customs regulations, and related programs.
• Experience with SAP ERP and trade automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HTS code classification and country of origin determination for all imported/exported products.
• Assist in applying proper U.S. Customs valuation methods.
• Review and maintain import/export documentation (commercial invoice, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Track international shipments for customs delay and regulatory holds.
• Support the implementation of Customs programs such as Duty Drawback, Temporary Import Bonds, etc.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders for pre-clearance instructions.
• Assist with ERP integration of trade compliance data (e.g., SAP material master).
• Assist with internal audits and CBP entry reviews.
• Provide reporting on trade compliance metrics and duty exposure.

Trade Compliance Specialist

• Pay Rate: $30.00/hour (on W2)
• Contract Length: 6 month
• Location: Onsite | Orlando, FL 32822
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview

This position supports the trade compliance teams in executing international trade operations. The key responsibility of this role is to support and maintain export/import shipment documentation, assisting in product classification and country of origin evaluation. Support in the implementation of efficient and effective processes for trade compliance transactions in alignment with U.S. Government laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies. Responsibilities also include communication with customs Brokers / Freight Forwarders as well as participation in cross-functional work teams.

Responsibility

• Maintain accurate HTS code classification and country of origin determination for all imported/exported products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, related field, or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• 3+ years in trade compliance, customs, or international logistics.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and Foreign Trade Regulations.
• Basic knowledge of HTS classification, valuation methods, country of origin determination, and Customs programs such as Duty Drawback, Temporary Import Bonds, Foreign Trade Zones, etc.
• Basic understanding of US Trade Regulations.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience with Trade Automation / SW solutions.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with duty drawbacks, FTZs, or CTPAT.
• Ability to motivate and initiate change.

Physical Environment

• Primarily office environment but will be required to visit warehouse, production and repair station areas.
