Job summary

KellyOCG is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support international trade operations. You will maintain HTS classifications and country of origin determinations, apply US Customs valuation, and manage import/export documentation.

The role involves coordination with customs brokers and ERP systems, and participation in cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in trade compliance, knowledge of HTS and CBP programs, and strong analytical communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field, or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• 3+ years in trade compliance, customs, or international logistics.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and Foreign Trade Regulations.
• HTS classification, valuation methods, country of origin determination, and related programs.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and trade automation solutions.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HTS code classification and country of origin determination for all imported/exported products.
• Assist in applying proper U.S. Customs Valuation methods.
• Review and maintain import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Track international shipments for customs delays and regulatory holds.
• Support implementation of Customs programs (Duty Drawback, Temporary Import Bonds, FTZs).
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders for pre-clearance and shipping instructions.
• Support ERP integration of trade data (e.g., SAP).
• Assist with internal audits and CBP entry reviews.
• Provide reporting on trade compliance metrics and duty exposure.
• Possess ability to motivate and initiate change.
