Urschel Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Trade Compliance Coordinator to join our on-site team at the Chesterton, Indiana headquarters.

Reporting to the Global Logistics Supervisor, the role supports daily import and export compliance activities, including documentation, screening, recordkeeping, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate holds an undergraduate degree focusing on International Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics, with at least three years in trade compliance; strong

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with a focus in International Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Minimum of three years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in manufacturing or OEM environments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency with computer applications.
• Experience with export/import compliance, ACE documentation, and classification data (HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, FDA codes) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support import and export activities, including documentation review, recordkeeping, and transaction monitoring in ACE.
• Conduct denied party screening and assist with end-use and end-user verification.
• Maintain product classification data (HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, FDA codes).
• Assist with customs corrections, regulatory filings, audits, and government inquiries.
• Provide trade compliance support to Sales, Customer Service, and Shipping, escalating potential risks as needed.
