Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a senior Global Trade professional in Tucson, AZ. You will interpret ITAR and EAR requirements and provide GT guidance to Raytheon International Entities to ensure compliance with U.S.

export laws. Responsibilities include conducting GT assessments, developing protocols, delivering training, and coordinating with GTPO and GIO teams to integrate controls across locations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience and application of US GT regulations (e.g. ITAR, EAR, Customs, etc.)
• Ability to draft, submit, implement, and manage licenses, general correspondences, third party transfers, and complex export strategies

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation under ITAR/EAR for Business Unit employees
• Interface and guide Raytheon International Entities on US GT laws and RTX GT program requirements
• Complete in-person or virtual GT assessments to ensure controls are implemented
• Develop GT assessment protocols with GTPO and GIO teams
• Identify compliance concerns and implement corrective actions across locations
• Support investigations, audits, and resolutions of GT matters
• Apply international trade regulations to real-life scenarios to support programs
• Deliver training for employees engaged in international business
• Travel to Raytheon International Entity locations as required
