Job summary

Cambridge Commodities is seeking a Customs and Trade Compliance Executive to support daily duties and projects in import and export operations. You will oversee international shipping documentation, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers and suppliers.

The role is based in the UK with potential hybrid working; salary ranges 30,000–40,000 GBP depending on skills and experience, with benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in import/export administration or international logistics.
• Knowledge of UK customs procedures and international shipping documentation.
• IT literate with proficiency in key Microsoft packages.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and suppliers; monitor progress and resolve delays.
• Update ERP and other reports with new supplier information and delivery schedules.
• Respond to customer queries regarding orders, shipments and deliveries.
