Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio is seeking an International Trade Compliance Manager to lead global trade compliance efforts, shaping standards, policies and training to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

You will manage risk across countries, drive duty reduction strategies, oversee export controls, and coordinate with regional teams and regulators to sustain compliant operations.

This senior role requires seven years in international trade compliance and a BA/BS in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law, business, government or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in international trade compliance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of import/export regulatory compliance and related frameworks.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills; fluency in Spanish a plus.
• Experience with risk assessment, audits and training in a global setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage trade compliance risk profile across multiple countries against changing regulations.
• Develop and implement global policies, procedures and training.
• Act as subject-matter expert on export control and sanctions; oversee screening.
• Define and drive globally consistent, cost-effective compliance programs.
• Coordinate with regional teams to implement global policies locally.
• Interact with regulatory agencies regarding inquiries and reporting.
• Oversee audits, self-assessments and corrective actions.
