Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Portland, OR is seeking a Customs Brokerage Compliance Manager to lead compliance with CBP regulations, oversee internal controls, audits, and regulatory risk management to support lawful, efficient customs operations. The role requires deep knowledge of U.S.

customs and strong leadership to drive policy adoption across brokerage teams. You will mentor staff, manage audits, implement policies, and coordinate with CBP and regulators while advancing training and risk-reduction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or International Trade.
• 5–8+ years in customs brokerage or trade compliance.
• Licensed U.S. Customs Broker (LCB) highly preferred.
• CCS/CTCS or similar trade compliance certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all U.S. customs laws, regulations, and rulings.
• Develop, implement, and maintain brokerage compliance policies and controls.
• Monitor regulatory changes and lead implementation of new requirements.
• Act as primary contact for CBP, auditors, and government agencies.
• Conduct internal customs compliance audits (entry accuracy, valuation, classification, origin).
• Manage corrective action plans for identified risks or violations.
• Oversee post-entry amendments, protests, disclosures, and penalties.
• Provide guidance to brokers, operations, and trade professionals.
• Review complex issues including FTAs, AD/CVD, and special programs.
