Lutron Electronics seeks a Trade Compliance Supervisor to join the Center Valley, PA Annex office and lead global trade operations ensuring compliance with customs and government regulations across international markets.

The role requires strong analytical skills to interpret import/export regulations and implement regulatory requirements while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to mitigate risk and support global growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum GPA 3.00; if you have 10+ years, GPA not required.
• Minimum 8 years of professional work experience in international operations, import/export, or customs brokerage.

Responsibilities

• Represent Trade Compliance by maintaining consultative communication with management and staff across multiple business functions.
• Lead and manage HTS classifiers.
• Utilize expertise in trade compliance operations for import and export transactions.
• Perform compliance review of imports and exports.
• Execute complex transactions and projects, including valuation, assist management, planning, and routing guidance.
• Validate Country of Origin and valuation details for new lanes/markets.
• Determine import requirements and documentation necessary for compliant import/export transactions.
• Respond to inquiries / assist freight forwarder and customs brokers regarding cross-border transactions.
• Generate performance metrics for pre-entry activities.
• Participate in various process improvement projects as required.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative changes; communicate updates for internal processes.
