Job summary

Lutron Electronics seeks a Trade Compliance Supervisor to join the Trade Compliance team at our Center Valley, PA Annex location. You will facilitate global trade operations, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and support international markets.

You will analyze complex import and export rules, lead HTS classification efforts, update internal policies, and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and regulatory effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3.00 GPA; 10+ years of experience exempts GPA requirement.
• 8+ years in international operations, import/export, and/or customs brokerage; leadership a plus.
• Preferred CCS, Certified Export Specialist, or Licensed Customs Broker.
• Must live within commuting distance of Center Valley, PA.
• You are authorized to work in the U.S. and no visa sponsorship is offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consultative communication with management and staff across functions.
• Lead and manage HTS classification efforts.
• Apply trade compliance expertise to import/export transactions.
• Perform compliance reviews of imports and exports.
• Execute complex transactions including valuation, planning, and routing guidance.
• Validate country of origin and valuation details for new lanes/markets.
• Determine import requirements and documentation for compliant transactions.
• Respond to inquiries and assist freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Generate performance metrics for pre-entry activities.
• Participate in process improvement projects and regulatory updates.
