Job summary

Protolabs is seeking a Global Trade Compliance & Import/Export Specialist in Maple Plain, MN for a fixed HYBRID role with onsite presence Tue-Thu. You will serve as the subject matter expert for global trade compliance and import/export operations, ensuring cross-border transactions meet all regulatory requirements and sanctions.

You will collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Network Operations and external logistics providers to establish compliant trade

Qualifications

• Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for global international trade compliance and import/export operations.
• Collaborate to ensure all cross-border transactions comply with import/export controls, sanctions, and customs rules.
• Implement best practices to mitigate regulatory risk and support efficient logistics.

• Ensure transactions adhere to applicable import/export laws and regulations.

This is a fixed HYBRID role - onsite Tuesday-Thursday in Maple Plain, MN.

The Global Trade Compliance & Import/Export Specialist serves as the organization's subject matter expert for globalinternational trade compliance, customs regulations, and global import/export operations. This position is responsible for ensuring that global cross-border transactions are conducted in compliance with all applicable import, export, customs, sanctions, and trade regulations while supporting efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.

The role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Network Operations, and external logistics providers to establish compliant trade practices, mitigate regulatory risk, and support business growth through effective international trade management.
