Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Legal Director, Global Trade Compliance Counsel to provide expert guidance on U.S. and international trade laws and to lead Arrow's global trade compliance program.

You will advise on export controls, sanctions, and antiboycott matters, and coordinate licensing, classifications, and advisory opinions. Qualifications

• Minimum five years in U.S. export control laws, embargoes, sanctions, or anti-boycott with a multinational.
• J.D. and active bar membership; reciprocity preferred.
• Experience leading a global trade compliance team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on U.S. and international trade laws including export controls and sanctions.
• Lead and manage Arrow's global trade compliance organization.
• Review contracts for trade compliance and advise on licensing and authorizations.
• Collaborate with business units and external counsel to ensure compliance globally.
