Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Winona, MN is hiring a full-time Trade Compliance Coordinator to support import/export operations and ensure regulatory compliance across internal teams. The role collaborates with Logistics, Product Development, Inventory and Accounts Payable to classify goods and maintain compliance with government requirements.

Onboarding may lead to flexible scheduling after performance goals. Base pay ranges from $45,000 to $65,000 with eligibility for bonus or commissions.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field, or equivalent import/export/logistics experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic math skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Adherence to Fastenal's core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam)

Responsibilities

• Work with U.S. Customs to facilitate import/export program
• Assist departments with Harmonized Tariff Code information for Fastenal products
• Ensure proper regulatory compliance for all international transactions
• Communicate upcoming regulatory changes to departments
• Support audits and transaction reviews, as needed
