Job summary

Fastenal is hiring for a Part-time Distribution Center Help Desk role in Winona, MN. You will provide customer service to Fastenal branches by answering questions, tracking orders, placing requests, and performing quality checks.

The position is based at 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987 and offers a flexible schedule after onboarding, with shifts Mon-Fri 7:00am - 6:00pm and up to 28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Prior administrative/customer service experience or industry knowledge.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product.
• Assist branches with product questions or issues by phone, email or online.
• Perform quality checks to verify descriptions and quantities.
• Locate orders in the warehouse and support multiple departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Comply with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations.
• Support in other distribution center tasks as needed.
