Job summary

ABB is seeking a classifications specialist to ensure compliant export controls for products, software and raw materials. You will maintain master data including HTS and ECCN and support customs declarations with accurate product information.

The role requires strong knowledge of US trade regulations, SAP/GTS experience, and collaboration across a multinational team in a hybrid US environment, with potential remote work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of logistics, export operations or customs compliance experience.
• Experience in multinational/global organizations.
• Strong knowledge of US import/export regulations and customs procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customs and export classification for ABB products, software, and materials.
• Manage and update master data: descriptions, HTS, ECCN, and related entries.
• Guide teams on product classification inquiries and regulatory changes.
• Review regulatory framework changes and apply relevant updates.

Skills

Regulatory compliance knowledge

Experience in logistics/exports
