Job summary

ABB is seeking a qualified professional to support customs and export control classification for products, software, and materials. The role includes maintaining master data such as HTS codes and ECCN, and advising teams on classification inquiries within a hybrid work model supporting US and Canada operations.

Applicants should have a strong understanding of US import/export regulations, experience in a multinational setting, and familiarity with SAP or SAP GTS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, customs compliance, or international trade administration.
• Experience in multinational/global organizations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US import/export regulations; familiarity with CA regulations is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTS classification, ECCN determination, and customs valuation principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customs and export control classification for ABB products, software, and/or technologies.
• Manage and update master data for products, technologies, and software (HTS, ECCN, descriptions).
• Offer guidance to relevant teams on product classification inquiries or issues.
• Review and apply regulatory changes related to product classification.
