Job summary

Medtronic plc seeks a Trade Product Classification Analyst to manage the global HS classifications and select local HTS and ECCN classifications. You will collaborate with internal teams, release blocked SAP orders, and research license requirements to ensure compliant classifications.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous process improvement and cross-functional teamwork across global Trade teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's Degree with 2+ years OR Baccalaureate Degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Experience in international trade function is preferred (Nice to Have).
• Commodity classification experience is a plus and willingness to engage with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Classify products according to global HS classifications and select local HTS and ECCN classifications.
• Release blocked orders in SAP.
• Identify items requiring export or re-export licenses and research classification rules.
• Create standard customs descriptions and rationales.
• Collaborate with global Trade teams and maintain records supporting classification decisions.
• Work independently and with teams to streamline processes and meet SLAs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HS and ECCN classifications.
