Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a Global Trade Assistant Manager to guide FTA compliance and logistics across import, export, and domestic movement. You will liaise with vendors, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities include overseeing USMCA/USKOR compliance, creating training materials, and driving cost-saving initiatives while coordinating multi-modal transportation to support production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; extensive knowledge of US Free Trade Act (USMCA/USKOR) mandatory.
• 7+ years in FTA and 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Direct experience with import/export shipping and customs clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee FTA operations and compliance for HMGMA.
• Coordinate ocean/air/inland transportation from import to sale/export.
• Develop training materials and present FTA topics to teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics processes.
