Job summary

Geodis USA, LLC is seeking an experienced customs professional in Philadelphia to manage classification and regulatory compliance for imports. The role requires strong knowledge of HTS, CBP laws, and a valid US Customs Broker License.

You will advise clients, prepare routine reports, and train staff while maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. This on-site position offers opportunities to interface with government officials and customers, with occasional travel up to 10% and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of customs brokerage and/or import company experience.
• Experience classifying textiles, apparel and accessories.
• Knowledge of HTS and US Customs/CBP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Determine applicable government agency requirements for the product.
• Advise clients on design or sourcing options to minimize duties.
• Meet with clients or officials to review product lines.
• Represent company at industry events.
• Prepare reports (customs data, broker scorecard, shortages).
• Manage and train staff on classifications and regulations.
• Analyze large data sets related to import entries.
• Post entry filings.
• Travel up to 10%.
