Job summary

Livingston International in Michigan is seeking a Trade Analyst to perform varied trade-related functions within our Global Trade Management group. You will work with management, client teams and external parties to meet deliverables across classification, import/export operations and compliance.

The ideal candidate has knowledge in classification, restricted parties screening, FTAs, reconciliation and post-entry/vendor performance management.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Trade Applications & Software to analyze import/export data and create transactional documentation, KPI reports, HS & ECCN classification, and determine FTA qualification applicability.
• Monitor and adhere to changing priorities as required by the client(s), US Customs and other regulatory bodies, and management.
• Research missing or incomplete forms or information with suppliers, carriers, and the client.
• Respond to client inquiries and requests; interact with Livingston employees, clients, brokers, freight forwarders and carriers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with leadership teams' support.
• Contribute to process development and improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures.
