Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data-driven consultant to partner with clients, educate them through the process, and build lasting relationships. You will lead project activities, supervise direct reports, and ensure strong financial results while coordinating cross-functional teams.

You will translate complex findings into compelling stories, mentor team members, and collaborate with data science, marketing, and design to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Willing to coordinate and lead daily team activities.
• Able to provide immediate supervision to direct reports, including assigning tasks, checking work, and maintaining schedules.
• Willing to spend a portion of time performing the work of supervised employees.
• Experience or interest in developing management skills.
• Experience conducting market research.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to adhere to detailed processes and strong attention to detail.
• Basic SPSS skills.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, maintain timelines, make strategic decisions, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with strong business acumen.
• Ability to foster a positive client experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a thought partner to clients, educating them throughout the process and building lasting relationships.
• Advise direct reports and share responsibility for their growth and development.
• Lead project activities while achieving excellent financial results.
• Help lead long-term, large-scale tracking engagements as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage data collection, processing, tabulation, analysis, and reporting.
• Translate complex findings into compelling stories.
• Strategize alongside Material business leaders.
• Influence and advise business decisions and adapt to technologies that drive efficiency.
• Work with programming, design, data collection, marketing, and data science teams.
• Mentor and develop team members.
