Expeditors International in Seattle is seeking a Manager of Global Technology for EXP.O NOW Tracking and Data. You will lead a 7-engineer team, guide roadmap, and deliver customer-visible tracking and reporting capabilities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This role emphasizes modernization, reliable APIs, self-service reporting, and close collaboration with Product, Sales, and Operations to maximize adoption and business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 3+ years Java/Spring Boot backend development.
• 3+ years Agile methodology.
• 3+ years in a formal technical leadership role.
• Experience coaching and developing technical employees.
• Experience coordinating work across stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
• Experience delivering technology solutions that support business objectives.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 7 engineers with clear ownership of tracking and reporting apps.
• Own delivery and operational support for core Visibility services (Query Service, Reporting Service, Scheduler Service, Template Service, Report Depot, Notification Service, Image Service, visibility-ui).
• Drive reliability, operational health, and customer adoption while aligning with Agile practices.
• Guide modernization efforts including enhanced APIs and self-service reporting capabilities.
