Job summary

Johnson Controls’ Data Center Product Architecture team is seeking a Data Center Thermal Systems Fellow for the Advanced Technology & Innovation group. You will be an acknowledged global technical and business leader for thermal technology at Johnson Controls.

This role sets technical direction across the organization, leads cross-divisional platform alignment, and develops strategies for reconciling thermal system platforms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 18+ years of industry experience.
• Global corporate thermal technology expertise.
• Strong leadership across divisions.
• Experience with data center cooling systems.
• Proficient CAD (SolidWorks/Creo).
• Experience in thermal system design and testing.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive long-range enterprise thermal system strategies globally.
• Lead cross-divisional thermal platform alignment.
• Define corporate thermal integration strategy across divisions and partners.
• Develop technical strategies for platform reconciliation across divisions.
• Set technical direction for thermal technology with wide latitude.
• Mentor Sr Staff and Lead Staff Engineers globally.
