Job summary
Johnson Controls is seeking a Data Center Thermal Systems Fellow to shape enterprise thermal technology strategy and drive alignment across divisions. You will guide platform reconciliation, advise on strategic planning, and mentor senior engineers globally in a highly influential role.
The position is onsite at the Advanced Technology and Innovation Center in New Freedom, PA, with a minimum of three days per week on site.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 18+ years of industry experience in thermal systems.
- Expert in thermal interactions across products and platforms.
- Global technical leader with influence on cross-divisional initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of data center cooling architectures and direct liquid cooling.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for thermal technology across the organization.
- Lead cross-divisional thermal platform alignment and strategy.
- Drive long-range planning of enterprise thermal system strategies globally.
- Define corporate thermal integration strategy and architecture.
- Mentor senior engineers and serve as a corporate technical advisor.
- Lead and participate in strategic planning with external partners.
