Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Test Equipment Deployment Technician to join the Military Aircraft Group. You will report to the Test Equipment Section Head and work onsite on the 1st shift in East Aurora, NY.

You will deploy test equipment globally, assemble from drawings, use hydraulic tools, ensure safety, and collaborate with Design and Deployment engineering. A high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply English instructions.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of test equipment for Moog customers worldwide.
• Assemble, modify and install equipment from engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Use hydraulic flanging, flaring, bending equipment and hand tools.
• Maintain accuracy with torque wrenches, fixtures and gauges.
• Interface with Design/Deployment engineering for build support.
• Ensure Health & Safety practices and complete risk assessments.
• Support process improvements and standard tooling coordination.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; basic computer skills.
• Experience fabricating/modifying parts using mills/welders is a plus.
