Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Senior Counsel to support technology transactions across the firm. You will structure, draft, and negotiate a wide range of technology agreements and provide regulatory guidance to business and technology partners.

You will collaborate with global teams, manage complex negotiations, and lead outside counsel when needed, contributing to the firm’s evolving technology strategy in the financial services space.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed attorney with relevant regulatory compliance to jurisdiction of employment.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology and outsourcing contracts with third parties.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research abilities.
• Proven business judgment and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate technology agreements (SaaS, software, cloud, data) with third parties.
• Coordinate end-to-end negotiations and align with internal stakeholders for timely execution.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements to business and functional teams.
• Support investments and acquisitions by performing due diligence on IP, privacy, and tech controls.
• Lead cross-functional teams across business, procurement, compliance, and strategy.
