Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in New York is seeking an Associate in our Technology Investment Banking group. You will participate in the full cycle of transactional execution, including preparing pitches, reviewing financial analyses, and presenting internal memoranda and client presentations.

You will work with analysts and associates, guide execution, and develop strong technical skills to become a senior officer capable of generating and executing transactions. Travel may be frequent.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in investment banking front office.
• Academic background from a top tier educational institution.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Understands transaction cycle and is execution oriented.
• Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions
• Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
• Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses
• Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Associates and Analysts
• Participate in graduate recruiting
