Bank of America is seeking a risk officer to support second line of defense oversight for an ITGPST-focused Front Line Unit and control functions. The role emphasizes adherence to global compliance policies, operational risk management, and third‑party governance across critical technology platforms.

You will evaluate risks, escalate issues, and contribute to independent risk reporting, while collaborating with technology and risk leaders to strengthen controls and reduce operational risk

Competenze

• 4+ years’ experience in financial services, fintech, payments, audit, regulatory management and/or risk management.
• Background in risk-related disciplines; strong experience with the Global Compliance & Operational Risk program from a 1st or 2nd line perspective.
• Strong communication and influence; comfortable engaging at the executive level and shaping outcomes.
• AI fluency and analytical skills; uses data to inform risk assessments and decisions.
• Understanding GCOR programs, Global Technology policies, and ITGPST processes and risks.

Mansioni

• Provide independent compliance and operational risk oversight for Front Line Unit or Control Function performance and related third party/vendor relationships.
• Assess risks and effectiveness of FLU processes and controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in assessing risks and controls; drive reporting and documentation.
• Identify and escalate problems and drive actions to address root causes of compliance or operational risk issues.
• Develop independent risk management reporting as inputs into management routines.
• Monitor Front‑Line Unit operations and risk metrics for violations and issues.
• Perform inline review of ITGPST issue management activities and remediation.
