Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior leader to drive second-line compliance and operational risk oversight for global front-line units and control functions. You will lead a team ensuring adherence to the Global Compliance and Operational Risk policies, while identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks across client engagement and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 10 years+ experience in Risk Management and/or Commercial Banking and/or Regulatory Compliance
• Financial Services or similarly regulated sector
• Executive presence and strong leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversees risk assessment, controls and their effectiveness, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and adhering to policies
• Oversees independent compliance and operational risk oversight of Front-Line Units and third party/vendor relationships per the Policies and Program
• Oversees identification and escalation of problems or issues, drives root-cause actions to address risk issues
• Oversees inventory of risks and metrics for risk appetite and reporting violations of compliance or regulatory activities
• Manages development of independent risk management reporting for areas of coverage and governance inputs
• Oversees monitoring of the regulatory environment to identify changes applicable to coverage
