Bank of America is seeking a seasoned professional to execute second line of defense compliance and operational risk oversight for Front Line Units and Control Functions. The role focuses on ensuring policy adherence, risk identification, escalation, and timely mitigation across applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities include independent oversight of FLU/CF performance, risk inventories, and development of management reporting while collaborating with Legal, Operations and Regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
• Regulatory examination/registration or certification may be required depending on jurisdiction and role.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income markets, including swaps/derivatives products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong verbal and written communications, and a confident presenter.
• High attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced trading floor environment.

Responsabilités

• Assesses risks and effectiveness of FLU processes and controls to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
• Provides independent compliance and operational risk oversight of FLU/CF performance and related third party relationships.
• Identifies and escalates problems and drives actions to address root causes of compliance or operational risk losses.
• Manages inventory of processes, risks, controls, and metrics for risk appetite and reporting.
• Develops independent risk management reporting for area coverage as input into governance routines.
• Reviews and challenges process, risk, and control self-assessment related to themes or trends.
