Job summary

Barings seeks a senior technology leader to own and lead the Global Technology & Data function. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will set and execute the technology strategy and ensure resilient, secure and scalable technology operations, while enabling business through modern data capabilities and AI-enabled technology.

You will build and sustain a high-performing GTD leadership team, drive modernization, automation and responsible governance, and partner with senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• 10+ years senior leadership experience in technology, data and/or AI within regulated/enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate business priorities into clear roadmaps and investment plans.
• Credible, influential stakeholder management with executive-level partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead multi-year GTD strategy, roadmaps and investment plans.
• Own GTD operating model with governance and accountability across data, security and infrastructure.
• Lead the GTD leadership team to deliver disciplined execution and continuous improvement.
• Set strategic direction for AI-related technology and platform strategy.
• Oversee data capabilities, governance, analytics and insight generation to improve decision-making.
• Maintain disciplined oversight of risk, vendor performance and investment governance.
