Axis Communications in Chicago seeks a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver engaging training experiences for customers and partners. You will lead in-person and virtual sessions, webinars, and podcasts, adapting content for diverse learners and market needs.

The role requires 4+ years in technical training, solid IP/networking background, and excellent communication. You will travel extensively, collaborate across teams, and continuously improve training programs and materials.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in technical training, education, or a related field.
• Technical background in IP technologies, networking, or a strong passion for learning and teaching technical concepts.
• Knowledge of networking technologies, including switching or routing.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills.
• The ability to engage an audience, adapt to changing classroom needs, and make technical information easy to understand.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• A self motivated, resourceful, flexible, and detail oriented approach.
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging in person and remote training sessions, courses, webinars, and podcasts.
• Develop, update, and refine training materials to reflect evolving products and customer needs.
• Assess training needs and contribute to the development of relevant learning programs.
• Gather and evaluate customer feedback to continually improve the training experience.
• Serve as an ambassador for Axis training programs and collaborate with colleagues.
• Maintain training facilities, equipment, and technology to ensure a professional learning environment.
