Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Technical Support Manager in Alachua, Florida to lead a global team of Technical Support Specialists, resolve complex issues on Rotary Blasthole Drills, and translate field feedback into product enhancements.

You will partner with Product Development, Supply Chain, and Sales to implement fixes, support new product introductions, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and multiple priorities.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for heavy equipment in mining/industrial settings.
• Solid root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective project management and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Experience with safe work practices related to equipment operation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Technical Support Specialists.
• Resolve complex technical issues affecting Rotary Blasthole Drills globally.
• Gather field feedback and drive product improvements via CPI process.
• Coordinate with Product Development, Supply Chain, and Sales to implement fixes.
• Support new product delivery, commissioning, and testing activities.
• Review technical bulletins and assist with documentation.
• Promote ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance and safety culture.
