Job summary

Sandvik Group in Alachua, Florida seeks a Systems Integration and Testing Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for integrating mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software subsystems on rotary drill rigs, and to drive end-to-end product validation.

You will develop system-level test strategies, oversee test plans, lab tests, and field trials, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while delivering projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product development, system integration, and testing of complex electro‑mechanical systems.
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing engineers or technical projects.
• Experience in mining equipment or heavy mobile machinery is valued.
• Solid understanding of integrating hardware and software systems; PLCs and industrial protocols.
• Exposure to safety standards and field testing of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering team to integrate subsystems on rotary drill rigs.
• Develop system-level test strategies and comprehensive test plans.
• Oversee lab-based testing and field trials to validate performance and safety.
• Mentor engineers, set priorities, and drive on-time delivery.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and continuous design improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IMS ISO standards and Zero Harm safety practices.
