Job summary
ExxonMobil in Spring, TX seeks a Technical Sales Engineer for fuels dewaxing or synthetic fuels to drive customer value and market differentiation. You will lead the technical offering, support global opportunities, and collaborate across cross‑functional teams while traveling internationally.
The role requires a chemical engineer with 7–10 years in fuels process tech, familiarity with catalysts, and experience developing technical proposals and project economics.
Qualifications
- Chemical Engineer with at least 7 years in fuels process technology and reactor sizing.
- Background in fuels, hydrotreating, hydrocracking or catalytic dewaxing.
- Operations experience and experience in technical proposals and project economics.
- Familiarity with pilot plants and catalytic technologies is preferred.
- Experience developing technical proposals and NPVs is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop competitive technical proposals with a clear value proposition.
- Interface with customers as the technical point of contact and communicate the technology.
- Support Marketing by assessing opportunities and preparing case studies.
- Coordinate with IP teams on licensing, memos, and infringement risk.
- Collaborate with Product Management on catalyst manufacturing impacts.
