Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, 3+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or similar.
• Minimum 3+ years of technical experience in Basestock or Intermediates application development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basestock or Intermediates product knowledge and understanding of performance impact.
• Functional/behavioral skill proficiencies aligned with job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice on product fitness for use for ExxonMobil Basestock and Intermediates products.
• Provide technical interactions and support to sales and customers.
• Assess and evaluate product fitness-for-use in applications and formulations.
• Develop and support sales pipelines with commercial teams for market introduction of Basestock/Intermediates products.
• Lead testing with internal/external labs and summarize findings for quality queries.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Eng/chem

3+ years technical experience in Basel

Education

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

Masters or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
