Job summary

HP Inc. is seeking a Worldwide Technical Regulation Compliance Engineer in Houston to ensure products meet engineering design requirements and all safety, regulatory and labeling standards. You will track compliance across multiple development projects and coordinate with external labs and ODMs to obtain certifications.

The role requires 2–4 years in EMC compliance with strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Western US travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with PC related high-paced technologies.
• Experience working with external suppliers and managing requirements.
• Knowledge in Safety, Telecom and Energy PC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product meets engineering design with safe, legal compliance.
• Track and manage compliance requirements for multiple projects.
• Keep new product introductions on schedule with certification approvals.
• Prepare Declarations of Conformity.
• Oversee testing by ODMs and third‑party labs; verify OEM docs.
• Interface with HP groups and ODM partners.
• Collaborate with HP compliance to manage agency regulations.
• Present certification status to program teams.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar STEM

2-4 years’ experience in EMC product compliance design or EMC compliance product evaluation
