Job summary

Molex is seeking an Advanced Development, Technical Project Manager to lead a world-wide cross-functional team from project initiation to PDP start. You will work directly with customers, mentor team members, and drive project-level decisions in a technical business setting.

This role emphasizes ownership, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while aligning with business objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, manufacturing, supply management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Development Specific Project Management in a Technical Environment.
• 2 years of Customer-Facing or External Executive Facing experience.
• Fluent Japanese to interface with development teams in Japan.
• Willingness to obtain PMP certification within 1 year.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Advanced Development and Technology Development projects.
• Balance innovation with forward progress.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts for processes, mental models, and toolsets.
• Manage transition from Advanced Development to PDP.
• Handle project vision creation and change management.
• Own project reporting to management and customers.
• Mentor team members in PM principles, risk management, and decision making.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
