Job summary

Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. seeks a seasoned Corporate Counsel to support the Real Estate and Global Sourcing practice groups. The role covers technology agreements, data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI issues.

You will advise internal clients, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and collaborate with global teams while supporting litigation management and strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on in-house role in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• JD and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of legal practice, with deep experience in technology matters.
• Prior in-house experience preferred; law firm experience welcomed.
• Excellent judgment, a collaborative working style, and a sense of humor.
• Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and advise on SaaS, AI, developer, and other technology-related agreements and matters.
• Provide clear, business-centric legal guidance to internal clients.
• Partner cross-functionally with legal, procurement, and operations teams worldwide.
• Assisting with outside counsel management as part of the Legal Department’s strategic initiatives.
